Utility prices increase by 9.87%, YoY: PBS

November 5, 2018 (MLN): The Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Housing/Water/Electricity/Gas group has increased by 4.7% over September 2018 and increased by 9.87% over corresponding month of the last year i.e. October 2017.

The biggest component of the group i.e. House rent increased by 0.53% on MoM and 6.72% on a YoY basis.

Moreover, gas prices demonstrated an enormous increase of 104% on both MoM and YoY basis.

Water supply rates increased by 2.7% on MoM and 13.62% on YoY basis.
