July 19, 2022 (MLN): Losing its ground further against the US dollar, the Pakistani rupee (PKR) has depreciated by 5.8 rupees in the intraday trade compared to the previous close of PKR 215.20 per USD.

The local unit was quoted in the interbank market at 220.35/221.35 per USD [11:57 PST] with trades being reported at 221 per USD.

Within the open market, PKR is being traded at 221/222 per USD.
