Transsion Tecno Smartphone assembly plant in Pakistan to now focus on exports

March 11, 2020 (MLN): Minister for Economic Affairs, Hammad Azhar met with the CEO of Transsion Tecno Smartphone assembly plant in Pakistan on Wednesday.

Taking to his twitter handle, the Minister informed that the company has started producing 3 million handsets per annum.

The company will be focusing now on exports as their plant in Pakistan is most efficient out of all the plants owned by Transsion Group outside of China, he said.

The company has targeted to localize production of 49% of handset parts in the next three years, he added.
