TOMCL becomes first sustainable meat processor in Pakistan with SEPA approval

December 15, 2023 (MLN): The Organic Meat Company Limited (TOMCL) has successfully secured the approvals of its Environmental Management Plan (EMP) from the Sindh Environmental Protection Authority (SEPA), Government of Sindh, the company's filing on PSX showed today.

TOMCL is the first meat and offal processing company in Pakistan.

The approval of EMP demonstrates our commitment to environmental stewardship and social responsibility, as well as the company's alignment with the global best practices and standards in the meat industry.

"We believe that this will go a long way in enhancing our reputation and competitiveness in the export markets we operate in, as well as create value for our shareholders and stakeholders," the notification reads.

The company also extend gratitude to its shareholders for their continued support and trust in TOMCL.
