SECP grants license to Cordoba Leasing to carry out business as NBFC

November 22, 2022 (MLN): The Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has granted the license to Cordoba Leasing Limited (CLL), an associated and wholly owned subsidiary of Cordoba Logistics & Ventures Limited (CLVL) to undertake/carry out leasing business as Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC), the company filing on PSX showed today.

Accordingly, CLVL shall proceed with the injection of funds into CLL in accordance with the approval obtained from its Board of Directors on October 28, 2022.

To recall, the board on the same date had decided to inject Rs200mn into CLL against the issuance of 20mn ordinary shares at Rs10 each in order to meet CLL's business operations and working capital requirements.
