SCO Summit a milestone in Pakistans foreign policy: Nafees Zakaria

Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria on Monday said that the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit will provide Pakistan with a forum to effectively implement the agenda of regional connectivity being pursued by the government.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, the Spokesman said, “This Summit is a milestone in Pakistan’s foreign policy as the country will get full membership of the Organization.”

He said, “The Summit is an opportunity for regional countries to further their bilateral and multilateral cooperation.”

Nafees Zakaria said, “Pakistan looks forward to strengthening its bilateral and multilateral ties with all member countries of SCO.”
