SBP’s Interest Rate Corridor up 50 Basis Points after Policy Rate hike

According to a circular issued by the Domestic Market & Monetary Management Department of the SBP, the Floor and Ceiling levels for the Interest Rate Corridor are 5.00% and 7.00% p.a. respectively after the policy rate was increased by 50 bps to 6.50%

The SBP Overnight Reverse Repo (Ceiling) rate will be at 7.00% i.e. 50 bps above the SBP Policy Rate.
The SBP Overnight Repo (Floor) rate will be at 5.00% i.e. 150 bps below the SBP Policy Rate.
