Saudi delegation meets with PM's Advisor on Commerce, Abdul Razzak Dawood

October 1, 2018 (MLN): A meeting between Saudi Advisor for Power Mr. Ahmed Hamid Ghamdi and Advisor for Commerce, Textile, Industry and Investment, Mr. Adul Razzak Dawood has taken place at a private hotel, today.

During the meeting, several issues including trade were discussed, as the two deliberated on improving bilateral trade between the two countries.

Mr. Dawood also addressed the matter of increasing the job quota for Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia.

A meeting of the Saudi delegation with minister for Power Omar Ayub is currently underway, after which the guest delegation will meet up with the Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan and Finance Minister Mr. Asad Umar.

According to sources, the delegation will be briefed regarding imports and exports of the country and enhancement of exports within Pakistan will be discussed in further detail.

The sources have revealed that Saudi Arabia will be invited to invest in the special industrial zones of CPEC while its investment in LNG-powered power plants will also be deliberated.
