Sale of passenger cars declines by 10 percent in February, YoY

March 11, 2019 (MLN): A total of 17,071 passenger car units were sold during the month of February, 2019, decreasing by 10.2 percent (YoY) and taking the cumulative eight month sales to 140,462 units.
Total Trucks sold during the month declined by more than 27 percent YoY at 527 units, whereas total number of Buses sales declined by 35 percent YoY at 36 units.
Likewise, total number of jeeps sold during the period under review declined by 15.5 percent YoY at 663 units, while total number of tractors sold dropped by 37.3 percent YoY at 4044 units.
