February 15, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has carried out the Re-Composition exercise of the JS Global Banking Sector Index (JSGBKTI) as of December 29, 2023, according to a notice issued by the local bourse on Wednesday.

Under the relevant index rules, two banks have been removed while one has been added to the index.

National Bank of Pakistan (PSX: NBP) is the incoming one, whereas The Bank of Punjab (PSX: BOP) and Faysal Bank Limited (PSX: FABL) are the outgoing banks.

The re-composed index is effective from Thursday, February 15, 2024.

It is important to note here that the lot size of the incoming symbol shall be revised to one share and shall be discontinued in the odd lots market.
