National Foods approves 1:5 share subdivision

September 18, 2026 (MLN): Board of Directors of National Foods Limited (PSX: NATF) has approved a subdivision of the company's share capital, under which each existing ordinary share of Rs5 will be split into five ordinary shares of Rs1 each, without any change in the paid-up capital.

Following the subdivision, the company's subscribed and paid-up capital, currently comprising 233,115,425 ordinary shares of Rs5 each, will be restructured into 1,165,577,125 ordinary shares of Rs1 each.

Shareholders will receive five ordinary shares of Rs1 each for every one ordinary share of Rs5 held, as of an effective date to be announced later, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals under the Companies Act, 2017.

The board also approved corresponding amendments to the company's Memorandum and Articles of Association in line with the share subdivision.

The 55th Annual General Meeting of National Foods Limited will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi, where shareholders will be asked to approve these matters.
