PSX: Index loses 580 points at Midday

The market started Wednesday's trading session where it left of on Tuesday and the KSE100 Index fell 650 points before recovering to hit an intraday high of 45,265.48 (+351) points, however, it could not maintain this level and fell below 44000 points hitting a low of 43,826.67 (-1087) before recovering to its current level of 44,500.

Total Volume was 181 million shares with 329 scrips traded, out of which 278 were down, 45 up and 6 unchanged.
