June 15, 2023 MLN: The Benchmark KSE100 Index ended the trading session on Thursday with a 145.28 points decrease to close at 41,369.16.

The index traded in a range of 370.21 points showing an intraday high of 41,639.33 and a low of 41,269.12.

Total Volume of the KSE100 Index was 44.871 million shares.

Of the companies in KSE100 25 closed up, 63 closed down, 4 were unchanged while 8 remained untraded.

KSE100 Index was let down by Fertilizer with 58.99, Oil & Gas Exploration Companies with 42.58, Cement with 31.18, Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. with 15.41 and Technology & Communication with 10.74 points.

Companies dragging the index lower were FFC with 26.5, OGDC with 23.35, PPL with 21.36, ENGRO with 16.73 and DAWH with 16.35 points.

KSE100 index was supported by Chemical with 41.21, Commercial Banks with 15.61, Automobile Assembler with 8.48, Leather & Tanneries with 2.21 and Close – End Mutual Fund with 1.49 points.

Companies adding points to the index were COLG with 53.5, MTL with 12.95, MCB with 10.59, SHEL with 10.04 and HBL with 6.79 points.

In the broader market, the All-Share index closed at 28,020.36 with a net loss of 73.36 points.

Total market volume was 149.676 million shares with traded value being recorded at 3.6 billion.

There was 73,910 trades reported in 309 companies with 77 closing up, 208 closing down and 24 remaining unchanged.
