PSO invites bids for two LNG cargoes in May

March 24, 2021 (MLN): Pakistan State Oil, the country's state-run retail oil supplier, invited bids for two liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes for the month of May to curtail load shedding during the start of summer season.

According to the document received from the company, PSO invited bids for two cargoes wherein the first delivery window is May 20-21 while the second delivery window is May 25-26 on Delivered Ex-Ship (DES) basis.

The companies can submit their interest to help import LNG till April 20, the document said.

Pakistan LNG Ltd (PLL), one of the public sector entities responsible for LNG import, on Monday invited bids from reputed international suppliers for eight cargoes to be delivered between April to June period, the document added.

An advertisement by PLL said the country was seeking the cargoes to meet the country’s gas requirements, each of 140,000 cubic meters, in eight delivery windows and March 30 is the deadline for submission of bids.
