January 02, 2023 (MLN): Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) has restarted its refinery operations from December 31, 2022, a notice issued by company to PSX showed on Monday.

To note, on December 09 2022 the PRL decided to carry out its regeneration shutdown, starting from December 10, 2022, for approximately 20 days.

PRL is a hydro skimming refinery designed to process various imported and local crude oil to meet the strategic and domestic fuel requirements of the country.

Furthermore, the refinery has a capacity of processing 50,000 bpd of crude oil into a variety of distilled petroleum products such as furnace oil, high speed diesel, kerosene oil, jet fuel and motor gasoline etc.

At the time of writing, the scrip of the company is being traded at Rs13.29, which is up by Rs0.32 or 2.47% DoD.
