November 1, 2022 (MLN): Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will leave today for China and he would hold discussions with the Chinese leadership on the strengthening of bilateral relations, particularly the revitalization of the multi-billion-dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

“My discussions with Chinese leadership will focus on the revitalization of CPEC among many other things. The second phase of CPEC promises to usher in a new era of socio-economic progress that will uplift the quality of our people's lives”, PM said in a tweet.

Furthermore, at a time when the world is grappling with multiple challenges, Pakistan and China stand together as friends and partners.

Meanwhile, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Zhao Lijian during his briefing in Beijing said China warmly welcomes Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s upcoming visit.
