July 13, 2021 (MLN): After yesterday's fall witnessed in the price of gold by Rs450, the price of 24-karat gold remained stationary at Rs108,850 per tola in today’s trade.

According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, 10-gram of 24-karat gold also remained static at Rs93,321.

Similarly, the rates of 24-Karat silver per tola and 10-gram silver too remained flat at Rs1,440 and Rs1,234.56, respectively.

However, in the global market, gold prices edged higher by $7 to $1,808 per ounce, as concerns that increasing Delta variant cases around the world could derail a global economic recovery have fuelled appetite for the safe-haven assets. While silver was valued at $26.09 per ounce compared to $26 an ounce yesterday.
