Power sector payables likely to be discussed in today's ECC Meeting

A meeting of the Economic Coordination Council of the Cabinet is scheduled for Wednesday,
The agenda of the meeting is likely to be:
- Petroleum product JP-8 pricing formula would be discussed
- Regulatory duty on crude oil and other petroleum products including petrol and diesel will be discussed
- To approve issuance of sovereign guarantee against financing facility of Rs 13.132 billion will be approved
- Power Sector Payables
- Financing facility will be arranged for 1320 MW power project to be run on imported coal
- Financing facility worth Rs 80 billion will likely be approved for power holding company
