PMEX Commodity Index settles at 3,762 points

May 11, 2020: On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,762. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.916 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,492.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.966 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 561.532 million), Silver (PKR 486.138 million), Crude Oil (PKR 325.929 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 319.151 million), Platinum (PKR 70.084 million), DJ (PKR 69.490 million), Natural Gas (PKR 60.251 million), SP500 (PKR 48.869 million) and Copper (PKR 7.725 million).

In agriculture commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 9.031 million were traded.
