PMEX Commodity Index gains 331 points to close at 4,463-mark

July 10, 2020: On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index reversed its previous session’s loss by gaining 331 points and closed at 4,463-mark. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 12.379 billion and the number of lots traded was 16,470.

The major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 7.656 billion, followed by Silver (PKR 915.702 million), Currencies through COTS (PKR 901.050 million), DJ (PKR 703.589 million), NSDQ 100 (PKR 651.327 million), Platinum (PKR 589.393 million), Crude Oil (PKR 320.020 million), Copper (PKR 263.174 million), Natural Gas (PKR 239.509 million) and SP500 (PKR 139.801 million).

In agriculture commodities, 11 lots of Wheat amounting to PKR 47.862 million and 6 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.200 million were traded.
