PIB Auction: SBP sells floating rate PIBs worth Rs.272.815 billion

July 16, 2020 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan conducted an auction on Wednesday in which it sold floating rate PIBs worth Rs.272.815 bill for 3, 5 and 10 years.

The Central Bank received bids worth Rs.519.475 billion against an auction target of Rs.120 billion.

The SBP received bids worth Rs.233 billion for 3 year, Rs.190.45 billion for 5 years and Rs.96.025 billion for 10 years out of which the SBP accepted Rs. 145 billion, Rs.75 billion and Rs.45.025 billion.

The SBP picked up Rs.7.790 billion in non-competitive bids making the total accepted amount 272.815 billion.
