Petrol pumps strike averted as dealers agree on margin revision

July 21, 2023 (MLN): The Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA) has decided to defer its strike till Monday, July 24th, 2023, after reaching an understanding with the authorities on revising the dealer’s margins.

According to a statement issued by the PPDA, the revised margins will be based on actual data acceptable to all concerned stakeholders and will be announced within the next 48 hours.

The PPDA had earlier announced a strike from Saturday, July 22nd, 2023, to protest against the low margins.
