Pakistan's Yearly inflation at 8.9 Percent in June

July 2, 2019 (MLN): Pakistan's Yearly Inflation rate in June 2019 was 8.89 percent compared to 9.11 percent in May 2018 and 5.21 percent in June 2018. The July-June average inflation is 7.32 percent compared to 3.92 percent from the corresponding period last year.

Market Expectation of Inflation for June was between 9.76 % and 9.30% with the average estimate of 9.50%. On a monthly basis, CPI increased by 0.36 percent in June compared to 0.78 percent in May.

Market expectation of Monthly change was between 1.17% and 0.70% with the average estimate at 0.93%.

Core inflation measured by non-food non-energy CPI (Core NFNE) increased by 7.2% on (YoY) basis in June2019as compared to an increase of 7.2% in the previous month and 7.1% in June2018.

On (MoM) basis, it in-creased by 0.3% in June2019 as compared to an increase of 0.4% in previous month, and an increase of 0.3% in corresponding month of last year i.e. June 2018.
