Pakistan, Uzbekistan aims to cement bilateral ties

February 02, 2023 (MLN): Pakistan and Uzbekistan are working towards strengthening their bilateral ties in trade, commerce, railways, investment, agriculture, and science & technology, as stated in a press release from the Finance Division.

The 8th Pak-Uzbek Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) will be held in Uzbekistan and will be co-chaired by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, who led the Pakistani delegation at a preparatory meeting held in the Finance Division.

The conference will focus on the trans-Afghanistan rail and road project, increasing trade volume to $1 billion, cooperation in the banking and textile sectors, and facilitating exports and imports.
