Pakistan Post to make a significant turnaround

February 13, 2019: Director General Pakistan Post Dr. Naseer Ahmed on Wednesday said that Pakistan Post was on its way to make a genuine turnaround by capturing a major chunk in the today's E-commerce market share in order to make this premium public service organization, a self-sustaining and vibrant entity.

Dr. Naseer Ahmed reiterated that all efforts were being made to make new initiatives successful venture via new schemes that would turn Pakistan Post into a valuable national asset.

He said that a full pledge web portal web post shop would be developed which will help making Pakistan Post a hub of commercial activities and a robust platform for collaborating with the players in the E-commerce market.

He also said that Pakistan Post had recently taken new initiatives including Same Day Delivery Service, Electronic Money Order at Door step, Mobile application to track online articles and E-commerce initiative.

He said that Electronic Money Order at Door step is under testing phase, adding that Ministry of Postal Services will shortly inaugurate the service for General Public country wide.
