FBR Extends Income Tax Return Filing Deadline to October 15, 2025

October 1, 2025 (MLN): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline for filing Income Tax Returns for Tax Year 2025 until October 15, 2025.

The decision has been made under the authority granted by Section 214A of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, and comes in response to numerous requests from trade bodies, tax bar associations, and members of the general public.
