Pak Suzuki increases prices of all local variants

May 09, 2022 (MLN): Following an increase in freight and input costs and depreciation of the Pakistani Rupee against the US Dollar, Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has announced a massive increase in car prices from today, May 09, 2022, a notice issued by the company on Saturday showed.

The company has hiked the prices of its six locally assembled models, Suzuki Alto, Suzuki Wagon R, Suzuki Cultus, Suzuki Swift, Suzuki Bolan and Suzuki Ravi.

The company increased the prices of Alto VXR from Rs1,675,000 to Rs1,733,000, a jump of Rs58,000.

Similarly, the price of the Alto VXL AGS variant and the Alto VX jumped to Rs1,951,000 and Rs1,475,000, respectively.

The cost of Wagon R VXR has risen to Rs2,084,000 while Wagon R VXL and Wagon R AGS are now priced at Rs2,199,000 and Rs2,399,000.

The price of Cultus AGS has seen an upward revision as it surged to Rs2,762,000. The new prices of other variants, Cultus VXR and Cultus VXL have gone up to Rs2,330,000 and Rs2,564,000 respectively.  

Swift GL MT and Swift GL CVT have seen a price hike to Rs2,774,000 and Rs2,998,000 respectively.

Swift GLX CVT, saw a jump of Rs129,000, taking the price to Rs3,298,000 against the old rate of Rs3,169,000.

The new price of Bolan Van and Bolan AC now stands at Rs1,328,000 and Rs1,415,000 against the old rate of Rs1,283,000 and Rs1,370,000, respectively. Furthermore, the price of Bolan Cargo has risen to Rs1,315,000.

Meanwhile, the prices of Ravi and Ravi without Deck have increased to Rs1,256,000 and Rs1,181,000, respectively.
