Pak-Sri Lanka trade increased: Minister for Food

February 7, 2019: Minister for Food Security Sahibzada Muhammad Mehboob Sultan says business communities of Pakistan and Sri Lanka should step up for energies to comprehend all potential areas of business collaboration.
He was speaking at the conference on Enduring Friendship between Pakistan and Sri Lanka held in Islamabad.
The Minister said relations between Pakistan and Sri Lanka under the umbrella of SAARC can help promote a brighter and integrated future for all the people of South Asia.
He said Sri Lanka was the first country to sign a Free Trade Agreement with Pakistan which became operational in 2005 and the volume of trade between Pakistan and Sri Lanka has increased in the last few years.
