NA Body on Planning, Development, and Reforms meets

The National Assembly Standing Committee on Planning, Development and Reform met on Thursday in the Lahore College for Women, Lahore under the Chairmanship of Mr. Abdul Majeed Khan Khanan Khail, MNA.

The Vice Chancellor, Lahore College for Women, Lahore briefed the Committee over the performance, development work, achievements and future goals of the University in detail. After detailed briefing, the Committee shown its satisfaction over the performance of the University and made the following recommendations:-

The Committee directed the quarters concerned to expedite the construction work of the new campus of the said University at Kala Shakaku, Lahore in order to complete the construction work in time.

The Committee recommended the Punjab Government/HEC, Punjab to appoint Vice Chancellor in the Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan on regular basis so as to improve the performance/standard of the University.

The meeting was also attended by, Malik Ibrar Ahmad, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Ms. Shaheen Shafiq, Mrs. Shamas-un-Nisa, Mr. Junaid Akbar, Mr. Qaiser Jamal, Mr. Sher Akber Khan and Mr. Iftikhar-ud-Din, Sardar Muhammad Irfan Dogar, Syed Muhammad Athar Hussain Shah Gillani, Dr. Asma Mamdot, Ms. Shazia Sohail Mir, Dr. Nafisa Shah, Ms. Asiya Nasir, MNAs and Officers/Officials of the Ministry.
