IRSA releases 56,737 cusecs water

March 07, 2022: Indus River System Authority (IRSA) Monday released 56,737 cusecs water from various rim stations with an inflow of 53,369 cusecs.

According to the data released by IRSA, Water inflow and outflow in the dam was recorded as 16,900 and 16,400 cusecs respectively.

The water level in the Jehlum River at Mangla Dam was 1086.00 feet, which was 36.00 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet whereas the inflow and outflow of water was recorded a 20,070 and 23,938 cusecs respectively.

The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 15,907, 17,416 and 29,805 cusecs respectively.

Similarly, from the Kabul River a total of 3,200 cusecs of water was released at Nowshera and 13,199 cusecs released from the Chenab River at Marala.
