Inflation rate may slow to 4.34 Percent in April

Inflation rate for the outgoing month is expected to be lower than March as commodity prices of green vegetable and other kitchen suffered some erosion.

Mettis Global asked research analyst belonging to various financial institutions and consensus is that inflation rate for April is likely to stay around 4.34% which would be lower than March level of 4.94%.

According to analyst the prices of several commodities which played pivotal role at inflation basket registered downward movement. The prices of green vegetable, tomatoes and potatoes and even chicken fell down sharply.

This has been good omen for inflation rate as it has been shown resistances and if May rate remain at same level interest rate review likely to remain silent. The benchmark interest at 5.75 percent had already been at 42 years low level.
