Imtiaz Gadar joins Al Meezan Investment Management as CEO

August 01, 2024 (MLN): Mr. Imtiaz Gadar, a distinguished finance professional has joined Al Meezan Investment Management Limited as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 01, 2024.

He brings over two decades of experience in portfolio management, investment banking, equity brokerage, research, and investor relations.

Over his career, Gadar has held significant roles in prominent financial institutions.

Most recently, he served as the CEO of JS Global Capital Limited since October 2022 and previously as Deputy CEO, overseeing key strategic initiatives.

Before that, at Bank Alfalah Limited, Gadar led the Capital Markets division, managing M&A and Advisory, Principal Investments, and Public Equities, earning multiple accolades, including the 'Best Investor Relations' award by CFA Society Pakistan.

Imtiaz Gadar also has a notable history with KASB Securities Limited, where he served as the Head of Research and Business Development and later as the Senior Vice President, working on landmark transactions and earning recognition as 'Best Pakistan Analyst' by Asia Money multiple times.

He briefly worked as Vice President & Head of Research at J.P. Morgan, further solidifying his reputation in the industry.

Earlier in his career, Imtiaz Gadar held positions at Elixir Securities Pakistan, Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, and Al Meezan Investment Management Limited, where he began his journey in product development and research.

His wealth of experience and leadership skills are expected to drive Al Meezan Investment Management to new heights.

He is a CFA charter holder and an MBA graduate with 02 Gold Medals - Overall and Finance from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.
