HCAR raises prices by Rs 120,000 owing to increase in Forex and its impact on CKD

May 5, 2020 (MLN): Honda Atlas Cars (Pakistan) Limited has increased the prices of Honda Cars by upto Rs. 120,000, keeping in view the increase in Forex and its impact on the CKD and other parts, with the changes taking effect from May 5, 2020 i.e. today.

According to the notice issued to the company’s dealers, the prices of 1.5L TURBO RS and 1.5L TURBO ORIEL has been increased by Rs. 120,000 and Rs. 100,000 respectively, while the prices of 1.8L VTI SR CVT and 1.8L VTI CVT have been increased by Rs. 120,000 and Rs. 100,000 respectively.

The company raised the prices of 1.3L MT and 1.3L AT by Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 65,000 respectively, and 1.5L MT and 1.5L AT by Rs. 70,000 each.

Similarly, the price of 1.5L Aspire MT and 1.5L Aspire AT was increased by Rs. 70,000 as well.

Furthermore, the prices of BR-V MT, BR-V CVT and BR-V s CVT was increased by Rs. 80,000, Rs. 90,000 and Rs. 100,000 respectively.

The notice went on to add that the new prices are based on the current forex index, and any additional increase in the latter may lead to further price changes.
