‘Govt has set the target to get rid of power circular debt by next year’: Omar Ayub

May 8, 2019: Minister for Power Omar Ayub Khan on Tuesday said that government has set the target to get rid of power circular debt by December next year.

The Minister said that Ministry's drive to curb power theft and recovery of dues has yielded positive outcomes.

He said within four months additional Rs. 48 billion have been recovered and the move would touch Rs. 80 billion mark by the end of this year.
