Gold rate inclines up by Rs900 per tola

Gold prices recover in Pakistan after yesterday’s dip

January 04, 2023 (MLN): The most preferred gold has increased slightly by Rs900 per tola 24 karat to Rs188,600 per tola on Wednesday, compared to its previous sale at Rs187,700 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold moved up by Rs772 to Rs161,694, while the price of 10-gram 22-karat gold went up to Rs148,220, as reported by All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association on Wednesday.

This bullish trend of gold is mainly accredited to the non-availability of dollars and the devaluation of PKR. 

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola remained flat at Rs2,150. Likewise, 10-gram silver is remained same at Rs1,843.27.

In the international market, the safe haven gold surged by $29 to $1,862 per ounce while the price of silver raised to $24.40 per ounce as compared to $24.31 in the previous session.
