December 11, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs280,500 per tola, up Rs3,100.
The boost in gold prices is supported by escalating geopolitical tensions and expectations of another rate cut by the Federal Reserve next week, ahead of a closely watched U.S. inflation report.
Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs240,484 after a gain of Rs2,658, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs220,443 per 10-gram.
Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,450 per tola (+Rs50) and Rs2,958 per 10-gram (+Rs43).
