SECP directs all listed companies, market intermediaries to register on ESG Sustain Portal

September 22, 2026 (MLN): The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has directed all listed companies and market intermediaries to register on the SECP ESG Sustain Portal and comply with applicable sustainability disclosure requirements, including reporting under the mandatory and voluntary frameworks notified by the SECP from time to time.

The portal can be accessed at esgsustain.secp.gov.pk.

For onboarding, listed companies have been asked to contact the SECP's designated ESG email, providing details of the focal person along with a designated sustainability email address for account creation.

An earlier notice had informed listed companies that the SECP issued Revised ESG Disclosure Guidelines on December 11, 2025, in furtherance of its ESG Roadmap and in alignment with the Pakistan Green Taxonomy (PGT) and the country's Nationally Determined Contributions.

The SECP had designated the ESG Sustain Portal as the platform for ESG disclosures by listed companies, requiring them to onboard the portal without delay and ensure full and timely disclosure of ESG information in accordance with the revised guidelines.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
