Gold price in Pakistan rebounds Rs1,600 per tola

November 27, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan took a breather today after falling hard for the past two consecutive sessions.

24-karat gold, the key benchmark of Pakistan's bullion market was being sold at Rs275,900 per tola, up Rs1,600.

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,647 an ounce, up $15 or 0.57% from the previous session.

International gold rose as investors continued to digest the latest FOMC minutes while awaiting key US data for further insights into the Federal Reserve's monetary policy outlook.

It is worth mentioning that the previous two days, local gold has witnessed a massive loss of Rs8,600 or 3.04% per tola.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs236,540 after a gain of Rs1,372, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs216,828 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,400 per tola and Rs2,915 per 10-gram.
