Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs2,300 per tola

October 24, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Thursday after hitting a record high yesterday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs283,100 per tola, down Rs2,300.
On the global front, spot gold traded near $2,735 an ounce, up $13.6 or 0.50% from the previous session.
The Karachi Sarafa Association reported the price of 24-karat gold at Rs242,713 per 10-gram, down Rs1,971.
Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold was quoted lower at Rs222,487 per 10-gram.
On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market after surging yesterday. 24-karat silver was being sold at Rs3,350 per tola. It jumped Rs200 per tola on Wednesday
