Chenab Limited board approves sale of non-core assets to repay debt

September 09, 2026 (MLN): Chenab Limited's (PSX:CHBL) Board of Directors has approved the sale of certain non-core assets, including a weaving unit and other properties, subject to the approval of the company's secured creditors, with proceeds to be used for debt repayment.

The Board's decision was taken at a meeting held on September 9, 2026, at the company's registered office in Nishatabad, Faisalabad.

The assets approved for sale include a weaving unit comprising 197 kanals and 16 marlas of land along with buildings and plant and machinery, situated at Chak No. 44 R.B., Tehsil Shahkot, District Nankana Sahib; a unit comprising 16 kanals and 13 marlas of land and buildings at Chak No. 191 RB, Jhumra Road, Gatti, Faisalabad; and open plots totaling 4 kanals and 2.5 sarsahi outside the main unit in Nishatabad, Faisalabad.

The company stated that these assets do not relate to its core business and their sale will not affect operational capacity.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
