CPI Preview: Inflation to fall to around 17% YoY in April

Gold price drops by Rs 300 to Rs 115,700 per tola

October 20, 2020 (MLN): The price of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs. 300 on Tuesday to Rs. 115,700 in the domestic bullion market. The precious yellow metal of 24-Karat had closed at Rs 116,000 per tola on the last day.

According to the data released by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram gold also went down by Rs. 256 to Rs. 99,195 against the price of Rs. 99,451 reported yesterday.  

On a similar note, the price of per tola silver of 24 Karat was recorded at Rs. 1250. Likewise, 10-gram silver inched lower by Rs. 8.57 to Rs. 1,071.67 against the previous close of Rs. 1,080.24.

The gold prices in the international market came down by US $7 and traded at US $1,905, the association reported.
