Financial Markets Association decides to discontinue 30 years PKRV from Feb 06

January 24, 2020(MLN): The Financial Markets Association of Pakistan (FMAP) has informed to all treasuries via a notification that Association after consultation with Technical Committee and State Bank of Pakistan has decided to discontinue the 30 Years tenor PKRV.

In this regard, the Ministry of Finance and State Bank of Pakistan are not active in the auction of 30-year PIB tenors.

Further, no outstanding PIBs with tenor more than 20 years are available in the market either. If there is any asset/financing tagged with the 30 years PKRV in any institution, it is requested to notify the Financial Markets Association within 15 days of this letter’s circulation. Therefore, PKRV of 30 years will be discontinued effective from February 06, 2020.
