ECC to approve pre-shipment inspection of wheat

January 24, 2023 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet, in its meeting which is scheduled on January 25, 2023, at 1,400hrs, will discuss the six international pre-shipment inspection agencies on TCP's panel for conducting a pre-shipment inspection of wheat.

In addition, the meeting will discuss the Technical Supplementary Grant (TSG) amounting to Rs3 billion during CFY 2022-23 under Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme (SAP).

Another TSG of Rs666.64 million for Pay and Allowances/Pension of PCCC Employees will be discussed.

The committee will also review the summary on the allocation of additional funds for the repair & maintenance of "IB3160-Supreme Court of Pakistan Building, Islamabad" and IB3156-Repair & Maintenance of Judges Residences Rest Houses & Sub-Offices in various Cities" for the year 2022-23.

Approval for Fixation of MRPs of 54 New Drugs and Increase in MRPs of O1 Drug as Recommended by DPC in its 520* to be discussed.

Also, grant of extension in Adam X-1 Development and Production Lease (Hala Block), and Request for Extended Well Testing (EWT) Over Umair SE-1 Discovery Guddu (E.L).

The Petroleum Division has also submitted a summary for the approval of the Framework Agreement between PLL and SOCAR.

The meeting will be chaired by the federal minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Ishaq Dar.
