Opening Bell: KSE-100 index up by 310 points

November 10, 2022 (MLN): Continuing its bullish momentum, the benchmark KSE-100 index gained 310 points in early trade at around 10:06 am on Thursday as the index is currently trading at 42,575.69.

Positive triggers such as the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank on Wednesday approved $500 million co-financing for Pakistan under Building Resilience with Active Countercyclical Expenditures program funded by Asian Development Bank, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in a latest tweet mentioned that the government will speed up the Islamic Banking system in Pakistan and two banks SBP and NBP will withdraw the cases in Federal Shariah Court which boosted investors' confidence across the trading floor.

So far, commercial banks, technology, oil & gas exploration, and power gencos witnessed higher buying activity with a gain of 139.92, 115.43, 33.63, and 27.40 points, respectively.

Scrip-wise, ABOT, TRG, MTL, MARI, and SYS have gained maximum points.
