CCoIGCT Reviews KPT-AD Ports UAE deal

August 07, 2023 (MLN): The Cabinet Committee on Inter-Governmental Commercial Transactions (CCoIGCT) considered and reviewed the progress of the negotiation committee that discussed the commercial agreement between KPT and AD Ports UAE on August 04 and 05, 2023, said a press release issued today.

The agreement is for the development of a Bulk and General Cargo Terminal at East Wharf, Karachi Port. The CCoIGCT directed the negotiation committee to re-engage with AD Ports UAE to improve the terms offered by them.

The meeting was chaired by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
