Exchanging views with a delegation of APMF via Zoom during their visit to KCCI, Zubair Motiwala said that this step would help APMF engage the youth in the agriculture business and enable our youngsters to stand on their feet rather than look for jobs after completing IT training and other programs being provided by APMF.

“If APMF expresses interest, the Karachi Chamber will certainly arrange a meeting with SIFC authorities at the earliest”, he assured.

While highly appreciating APMF’s Job Fair activity, he opined that although this was a very good step but the APMF should come up with some kind of a unique idea that focuses on enabling our youth to stand on its own feet rather than looking for job.

He also advised APMF to collaborate with international IT service providers so that our youngsters could find a good career in the IT sector rather than working as freelancers.

President KCCI Iftikhar Ahmed Sheikh, while welcoming members of the APMF delegation, acknowledged the invaluable contribution being made by the Memon community in the economic development of Pakistan, besides participating immensely in KCCI’s activities and giving valuable inputs for enabling the business environment.

“Under APMF’s vision, we have established universities, colleges, labs and hospitals whereas work is underway to provide sponsorships and discounts to 2.5 million people of the community through non-Zakat funds," he said.
