Barrick Gold, Hunar Foundation launch training institute in Chagai district

March 22, 2024 (MLN): With the support of Barrick Gold and the Hunar Foundation, a Training Institute has been made functional in Chagai District located in the northwestern corner of the Balochistan province, the latest news post by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting revealed.

The main objective of this institution is to help the youth of the region stand on their own feet by teaching them various skills.

The training of the first batch has already been started in collaboration with the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).

The youth will be taught various skills over four months in the first phase. Moreover, the second phase will start in July in which the number of students will be increased to three hundred.
