Bank Makramah, OMNI group's settlement application accepted by Court

January 30, 2025 (MLN): Bank Makramah Limited (PSX: BML), along with OMNI group, submitted a settlement application that has now been accepted by the Court.
The application concerns the recovery of non-performing loans (NPLs) owed by various companies within the Omni Group and its affiliated entities, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.
The Court has issued a decree in favor of the Bank, confirming its right to recover approximately Rs10 billion.
This amount will now be recoverable according to the terms of the settlement that have been agreed upon.
