Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs1,600 per tola

July 29, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs354,700 per tola, down Rs1,600.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs304,098 after a decline of Rs1,372, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs278,757 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,963 per tola and Rs3,397 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,319 an ounce, up $6.4 or 0.19% from the previous session.

Gold prices rose on Tuesday as initial euphoria over the U.S.-EU trade truce ebbed, while investors looked forward to the upcoming Federal Reserve policy meeting for clarity on the U.S. interest rate trajectory.
