Gold, silver remain static in local market

August 4, 2021 (MLN): Gold witnessed no change in prices on Wednesday as the price of 24 karat per tola gold remained static at Rs 110,600, in the local bullion markets, Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Group reported.

The price of 10-gram 24 karat and 10-gram 22 karat remained stable at Rs94,822 and Rs86,920, respectively.

Likewise, the price of per tola and ten-gram silver remained stable at Rs1460 and Rs1251.71, respectively.

The price of yellow metal in the international market inched up by US$3 and was traded at US$1813 an ounce on a subdued dollar, though gains were kept in check as traders strapped in for US jobs data, which is seen as crucial to the Fed’s monetary policy strategy.
